This one’s up to you, and with a bit of research, you can decide what’s right for you. While a single-handle faucet offers convenient control of water volume and temperature, double-handle faucets offer additional styles and spout designs.
The most common cause of a dripping faucet is a broken cartridge. The cartridge is found inside the handles. It’s the device responsible for stopping and starting the water. Cartridge usually break due to hard water build up. If the cartridge isn’t the issue, the valve itself may be the problem.
All Jaquar faucets and accessories (chrome plated) should be ideally cleaned with Glitz (water scale cleaner) and a soft cloth or toothbrush. Read instructions given on the bottle before using glitz. It is available at all Jaquar authorized dealer counter at a reasonable price. Abrasive cleaning products (i.e. mould/mildew removers) should be avoided.
Exposeder pipes offer a wider experience without the need of complex concealed installation. It is available in new refreshing designs that can be integrated into any bathroom design old, new or renovated. It also comes with a height adjustment feature, so it can be positioned to release the spray either directly or diagonally from above.
A dirty aerator can cause low flow performance.
The O-ring or the push rod of the diverter are either dirty or degreased. Both must be cleaned if necessary, and lubricated with silicone grease.
Remove the aerator. Soak it in vinegar overnight and flush it with water, rubbing it with a toothbrush if the deposits are stubborn.
When a mixer or shower is switched off, it is physically necessary for it to drip briefly. This is not a product fault.
